Product Description

This RAINBOW SERIES uncirculated Bills are Genuine Legal Tender of the United States, which has been enhanced with beautiful colorized images from 1869. All currency issued by The United States in 1869 had a very unique multi-colored paper. Today collectors refer to them as "rainbow" notes.   In 1869 the $1 Unites States Note was redesigned with a portrait of George Washington in the center and a vignette of Christopher Columbus sighting land to the left. The $2 1869 United States Note was redesigned with the now familiar portrait of Thomas Jefferson to the left and a vignette of the United States Capital in the center. And the $5 1869 United States Note marked the first year that Andrew Jackson was featured on the five-dollar bill. The artists of the Merrick Mint have used an advanced technology over modern uncirculated United States $1, $2 and $5 bills, enhancing them with historical images from the 1869 Rainbow Series, to create these collectible works of art.

Your bills are guaranteed authentic. Only genuine Legal Tender United States Bills are used for this unique colorization process.

Each Bill is in FRESH, CRISP, UNCIRCULATED condition, and was directly removed from untouched wrapped Federal Reserve sealed packs.
