Each medallion is officially licensed and approved by the National Hockey League (NHL). These officially licensed medallions have been colorized using a unique multicolor authentic process by the Merrick Mint. Each medallion comes in a coin capsule and NHL Certificate of Authenticity.
Each medallion is about the same size as a U.S. Half Dollar coin and features a NHL logo with English and French wording design on the reverse and a colorized NHL team logo image on the obverse.
