This large 23" x 29" document is a replica of the original handwritten Declaration of Independence. The poster is about the same size as the original document which is preserved at the National Archives.
The Declaration of Independence was drafted by a committee which included three of the most famous Founding Fathers of the United States: Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams. It was adopted by the Continental Congress at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 4, 1776.
