To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Canada, the Merrick Mint has released a two coin set featuring original Royal Canadian Mint medallions with Colorized images of 150th Canada Anniversary Logos. One Logo is the official 150th Canada Anniversary Logo and the other features a 150th Canada Anniversary Goose Logo.
Each medallion on the back features Maple Leafs and the words Canada. The 150th anniversary of Canada, also known as the 150th anniversary of Confederation and promoted by the Canadian government as Canada 150, occurred in 2017 as Canada marked the sesquicentennial anniversary of Canadian Confederation.
The 2 medallion set has been beautifully enhanced with colorized images by the Merrick Mint. The 2-medallion set comes with a full color Certificate of Authenticity with each medallion coming in a premium coin capsule.
Each medallion is about the same size as a U.S. Half Dollar coin and features Canada Maple Leafs design on the reverse and a colorized image on the obverse.
