The American Women Quarters Program is a US Mint program that celebrates the accomplishments and contributions made by women of the United States. The women honored will be from ethnically, racially, and geographically diverse backgrounds. The U.S. Mint will issue up to five new reverse designs each year starting in 2022.
The obverse of each American Women Quarters coin will feature a portrait of George Washington facing right, originally composed and sculpted by Laura Gardin Fraser who was one of the most prolific women sculptors of the early 20th century and the first woman to design a U.S. coin.
You will receive the complete set of the five (5) Women Quarters that were released in 2025:
#1 – Ida B. Wells - Investigative journalist, suffragist, and civil rights activist
#2 – Juliette Gordon Low - Founder of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America
#3 – Dr. Vera Rubin - Astronomer known for her work on galaxy rotation, which provided key evidence for the existence of dark matter
#4 – Stacey Park Milbern - Activist for people with disabilities and a key figure in the disability justice movement
#5 – Althea Gibson - Multi-sport athlete and the first Black athlete to break the color barrier at the highest level in tennis
